Assistants with a job description

We build assistants that draft replies, answer the questions you hear every week, take intake and cover after hours.

A chatbot rebuilt around one job

The word chatbot earned its bad reputation: a widget in the corner that understands nothing and apologizes constantly.

Each assistant we build gets one job and a body of your approved content to answer from. One that handles scheduling questions completely beats one that handles everything vaguely.

Slatehaven Staffing Group

When an employer emails an order, the whole bench is scored against it and client-ready packets go out the same afternoon. Slatehaven is a company we invented, so we could build its website and back office in full.

Jobs we give them

  • Drafting replies

It reads an incoming message and drafts a response in your tone from your policies, for a person to review and send, inside tools you already use like Gmail or your help desk.

  • Answering common questions

Hours, service areas and what to expect at the first appointment, answered from content you control, so when a policy changes the assistant changes with it.

  • Intake

A short guided conversation that captures what the person needs and when, with the details landing in your CRM.

  • After-hours coverage

At nine on a Tuesday night it takes the request and queues it for the morning, with an honest note about when someone will respond. It doesn’t pretend the office is open.

Where assistants pay off

Where the same questions arrive again and again: service companies fielding scheduling calls, shops answering hours and stock questions and firms triaging new inquiries. If every inquiry you get is different, a sharper intake form is the better build, and scoping will say so.

Questions

Will it make things up?

Language models can, which is why ours answer from your approved content and route anything uncertain to a person. We also read transcripts during the first weeks live and tighten whatever we find.

Does this replace staff?

It takes the repetitive first pass. Your team keeps the conversations that need judgment, which tend to be the ones that win or keep customers.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

You have a log of every conversation and a way to correct the content it answers from, so mistakes get fixed at the source.

Every assistant we ship knows where its knowledge ends and hands the conversation to a person there

The person who picks up gets everything captured so far, so the customer never repeats themselves.
