Find out what AI would run on in your business

Before anyone builds anything, we look at where your information lives and how the work moves, and write down what we find.

AI runs on what you already have

An AI system works from the information it can reach. If your pricing lives in a spreadsheet updated from memory, an assistant quoting from it will be confidently wrong.

Readiness isn’t about perfect data or an IT department. It’s about whether the work follows a path and leaves a record the software can read.

Clients upload documents through one secure link and get back a short note naming what’s missing. Ternbrook is a company we invented, so we could build its website and back office in full.

What the review covers

  • Where your information lives

QuickBooks, Google Drive, a CRM, spreadsheets, paper folders or someone’s memory, and what a system could connect to today.

  • How consistent it is

The same customer spelled three ways across three tools is a solvable problem, and one to solve before AI reads those records.

  • How the work moves

Whether a request follows a path or depends on who picks up the phone. AI attaches well to paths.

  • Who would own it

Somebody has to check the output and say when the answers drift. An hour a week is often enough, as long as it’s somebody’s hour.

Two ways a review goes

Ready enough

Most businesses are closer than they assume.

  • Information is mostly digital, even if untidy
  • Requests follow a recognizable pattern
  • There is an obvious repetitive job to hand over

Worth a detour first

A different first step, with the reason written down.

  • Key knowledge lives in one person’s head, so we capture it first
  • Systems disagree with each other, so we reconcile them first
  • No repetitive work stands out, so AI may not be your next investment

Questions

What if the answer is that we should wait?

Then that’s what we tell you, along with what to change and in what order. The fixes are usually ordinary work, like consolidating records or writing down a process.

Do we keep the findings if we don’t go ahead?

Yes. The written findings are yours whether or not we build anything.

Do we have to clean everything up first?

No. You need to be ready for one narrow project, not for everything AI could do.

A readiness review tells you what’s true about your systems and what order to do things in

Sometimes the first step is fixing the intake form or the double data entry, work worth doing whether or not AI ever enters the picture.
