How a project runs, from the first call to the handover
Every project moves through four steps, from a phone call to a care plan or a handover, with a written update every week of the build.

Why the scope comes before the price
A change made on the call or in the written scope costs a conversation. The same change halfway through a build costs time and money, so we put our effort where changing course is still cheap.
That’s also why the first call is free and unhurried. For websites, our guide to what a website costs covers what moves the number up or down.

You see what’s included and what it costs before you commit to anything
A restaurant that needs online ordering and a contractor who needs jobs flowing into a CRM are buying different projects, even when both call it a website. So the price comes out of the scope.
The four steps
A five-page website and a customer portal follow the same steps. What changes is how deep each one goes, and your scope decides that.

A phone call
We talk about how work comes in, where money changes hands, what gets in the way and what’s growing. You don’t need to prepare anything. By the end of the call we both know whether the project is worth scoping.
A written scope and price
We map what the project is: the pages, the systems and integrations, the content and the order it all happens in. You get it in writing with a price attached, specific enough to hold us to.
The build, with a written update every week
You follow the work on a live preview link that changes as the build does. Feedback goes in while it’s cheap to act on, and each decision is written down before it’s built.
A care plan or a handover
At launch you choose. We keep it running on a care plan sized to the build, or we hand over the code and every account in your name. Ownership and care explains both.
Week to week during the build
What you’ll see from us
You hear from us every week until launch.
- A written update covering what shipped and what comes next.
- A live preview link that changes as the work does.
- Direct answers to your questions as they come up.
- Decisions confirmed in writing before they’re built.
What we’ll ask of you
Builds move fastest when the client stays close to them.
- Content and feedback when they’re due, or an early heads-up when they won’t be.
- One decision-maker who can give the final yes.
