Answers to the questions we hear most
These are the questions that come up most about cost, ownership, platforms and AI. Where an answer depends on your project, we say what it depends on.

Cost and ownership

What does a project cost?
It depends on scope. A focused website and a customer portal with payments and CRM integration are different projects with different prices. We scope first, then put a specific figure in writing.
How do you arrive at a price?
From the scope. Price lists work when every customer buys the same thing, and our clients don’t. You get a scoped plan with a number attached before any work starts.
Can we own everything outright?
Yes. Some clients want us running things on a care plan, and others want every account, credential and file in their own hands. Owning outright carries a premium, because a clean handoff takes documentation and transfer work.
Do you lock clients in?
No. Your domain is registered in your name, and every build is documented so another team could take over.
Platforms and timing

Why not use Wix or Squarespace?
For some businesses you should, and we’ll say so. A builder works well for a basic online presence. It runs out when you need bookings flowing into a CRM, customer logins, custom quoting or reporting it was never designed for, and that’s the point where many of our clients arrive.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
Almost always, and it’s usually the right call. We build around Stripe for payments, QuickBooks for the books, Google Workspace for email and whatever CRM you already run. Replacing systems that work is expensive, so connecting them well is usually the better project.
How long does a website take?
A focused site typically takes a few weeks from scoping to launch. Larger builds with portals or integrations take longer, and every scoped plan includes a timeline you can hold us to. The most common delay is content, so we flag it early.
What happens after launch?
You choose. We run the site or system on a care plan sized to what it needs, or you take everything and run it yourselves. Either way, launch includes a walkthrough of how it all works.
AI and our work
What does AI look like in practice?
Most often it’s an assistant that drafts replies your staff approve or a knowledge tool that answers from your own documents. It works from your data, a person reviews what goes out, and we recommend it where it takes work off your staff.
Can we see your work?
Much of it sits behind our clients’ logins, so we show it two ways: case studies that describe what changed for each business, and 19 concept builds you can click through. How we prove it explains the standard behind both.

Where we fit
We’re likely a fit if
This is the pattern behind most of our projects.
- You’ve outgrown a site builder, or your site no longer brings in work.
- Your tools don’t talk to each other, and someone retypes data to make up for it.
- You want the scope settled in writing before the price.
- You want to own what you pay for, or have the team that built it run it.
We’re likely not a fit if
Saying so early saves everyone a call.
- You need something launched this week, since scoping takes longer than that.
- You want guaranteed rankings or results, which nobody can promise.
